Mary Padian is often called by some as the Junkyard Queen, or even The Junkster. Her antique collections come from estate auctions as well as self-storage units. Mary began her career at Architectural Digest Magazine under Paige Rense's supervision after she earned her diploma in photojournalism. Then she created her own Mary Finds' section. The section featured videos about decorating and refinishing homes. Mary eventually opened a company in Texas using the brand name she had used for her former business, which focused on antiques and furniture restoration. A&E Television spied her in her antique shops, and she was invited to participate in Texas Storage wars. Three seasons were spent on the program. In the 5th season, her fame led to her being cast on Storage Wars. Storage Wars seasons 5-12 have seen her appear on-and-off on the reality show.
