Laura Linney was born in New York in New York on February 5 1964. Linney is an American actress who is known for her capacity to play powerful characters that are at risk. Linney was born into a theatre-loving family. Her father, Romulus Linney was a writer. Linney received her degree from Brown University in 1986 and afterward attended the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and graduated in the Juilliard School (M.F.A.)
