Molly was born in Pennsylvania and started to perform professionally when she was a teenager in Philly's Prince Music Theater. Her first professional production included The Snow Queen. Her nomination was for one of the Barrymore Award nominee for her character of Little Red Ridinghood at the Arden Theater's production Into the Woods. The actress reprised the role in her Broadway debut at the age of 15 in Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002 and was nominated for the Drama League Award. Molly was also part of the Broadway revival Fiddler on the Roof, in the year 2004. The year 2008 was the time she graduated with her B.A. from Princeton University. in Religion. During this time she also made her film debut in Disney in the film College Road Trip as Wendy Greenhut. Molly's career continued after leaving college with various Off Broadway plays, among the most notable was End Days by Ensemble Studio Theater. Molly also worked for a television show as a character in Royal Pains as well as an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly was in a variety of regional productions, including The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in the Barrington Stage Company, North Shore Music Theatre as well as Westport Country Players' production of The Diary of Anne Frank. Molly played Anne. Molly's best-known performance is in Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) as Ali her teenage daughter. Also, she was a part of Last Man Standing (an ABC comedy written by and starring Tim Allen) and Jack Burditt's The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in 2008.
